Gift for gardeners guide

Gardener gift idea #1

The first thing on my list is this 49 piece gardening set. This set comes with a garden tote to carry all your tools. This is a great gift for the beginning gardener. I have been focused on effectiveness this year and having all my tools close by has saved so much time. This kit comes with so many usable items. I really love the fact that it comes with some garden decor!! Check out the butterflies, I love them. How fun to have a few sticking out in the garden.

Every gardener loves a watering can. Keep in mind that a large watering can is always appreciated..this one is also gorgeous looking. Green has been my go to color lately . I really like the fact that it holds a gallon of water. It is big enough to water several pots, yet not so big that it will be to heavy to lift. So all in all, its a great can.

A rain gauge. I love this one from Johnny’s selected seeds because it can measure the smallest amount of precipitation. What gardener doesn’t keep an eye on the sky? Now they would be able to share how much rain they got down to 1/10th of an inch! You know that in the middle of August when Mr. Sun is doing his thing, 1/10 of an inch will be a blessing.

Blundstone boots are the best. These boots got me through thick and thin!! So comfy, so amazing. Your gardener will be over the moon. Easy to get on, and your feet do not tire! Highly recommend. I have the brown 510’s. Love, love, love.

Composting is something that most gardeners get into. When I started composting I used a plastic ice cream pail. This worked well for a few years. Now I have a metal compost bin similar to this one. I love it, and it does not look out of place sitting on your kitchen counter. Having the container close at hand reminds me to compost. My soil is loving it.

Miracle gro makes this fabulous dual chamber composter. It comes with instructions for assembly. This would work well in all size yards. You add your compost ingredients to one side, while letting the other side cure until its ready to use. Very easy to use.

It could be that I am in my 40’s, but I love a good kneeling pad. You can use it to kneel or to sit. The extra thickness is super appealing. The cutout handle makes it easy to cart around. I bet you will always have it by your side. Mine is!

Last but not least. A good hand soap is always a hit. I love the small batch soaps best. There is something so satisfying using a bar of soap that was handmade in small batches.
