Dried flower arrangements

Dried flower arrangements and decor is making a come back. This is not your grandmas version of dried flowers. Everlastings as they are called in the flower world can be found in many textures and colors. Most dried flowers last up to 1 year, however some grasses, such a bunny tails and pampas grass last several years.

Check with your local flower grower to see if they have any flowers available. Lots of growers are drying some of their crops.

Every year I have been drying more and more flowers. Experimenting with different flowers has been a blast. By combining similar colors and different textures, dried flowers can make a statement on your table.

what to do with dried flowers

There are so many things you can make with dried flowers. Here is a little tutorial on making cards with dried flowers. My next project with dried flowers is to frame them. These frames are my favorite. Hang in groups or just one at a time to brighten any wall in your home.
